The CapMed icePHR combines the award-winning CapMed Personal Health Record with the power of Microsoft HealthVault to make relevant medical records readily available "In Case of Emergency (ICE)." The easy-to-use icePHR Web application enables consumers to be in control, allowing you to choose which pieces of your health information are available in case of emergency. icePHR leverages the HealthVault ecosystem to feed your medical history from HealthVault into icePHR and send the information you enter in icePHR to HealthVault (with your consent, of course).

icePHR provides you with the tools necessary to manage your emergency medical information. Our intuitive, easy-to-use application guides you through the steps to enter your medical information that is needed during a medical emergency and identify what information is available to emergency responders. Your icePHR emergency data can be viewed through your own unique icePHR Web site, ensuring that your emergency medical information is always up to date. You can print and carry your icePHR access instructions on a wallet-size emergency card, or you can print your full emergency report to carry with you at all times.
