HealthVault Weight Gadget
If you're running Windows Vista, you can add the free HealthVault Weight Gadget to your Sidebar and use it as a quick tool to upload your weight to your HealthVault account. The Gadget works with HealthVault Connection Center, a free program that runs on your computer and enables you to transfer health and fitness measurements via your computer to your online HealthVault account. To set up the gadget:
- Get a free HealthVault account
If you don’t already have one, creating one is easy and free. After you sign in, you will be asked to grant permission to upload data to a record in your HealthVault account. - Get HealthVault Connection Center
Download and install a free program called HealthVault Connection Center that runs on your computer, and uploads data from devices and gadgets to your HealthVault record. - Install the gadget and upload your data
After you've installed the gadget, just open it and enter your data. Once you upload, you can use your weight data with a variety of Web sites that connect with HealthVault.
