Using Eclipsys Sunrise Patient Portal, patients can interact with their healthcare organization when it’s convenient, whether to view HCO-related news, the latest medical news, review their test results, medications, and other clinical information, view their registration, financial or appointment information, or to exchange secure messages with their care providers. Patients create their own Sunrise Patient Portal account and connect it to their Microsoft HealthVault account. The combination of Sunrise Patient Portal and Microsoft HealthVault allows patients to manage their own and their dependents’ HealthVault information and to add information from their healthcare organization’s electronic medical record to their HealthVault record.
