The ApoThera online "Drug Regimen Review" service connects you to the specialty pharmacist expertise you need when you are taking multiple medications. Patients need to add or update their personal information in one place, HealthVault®. ApoThera will be able to retrieve data from HealthVault® per patient’s authorization. ApoThera will then provide the information to their consultant pharmacist for a thorough monitoring, review and analysis of the drug regimen to provide pharmaceutical recommendations, if appropriate. ApoThera pharmacists ensure your medications are appropriate, effective, and prevent medication related problems that may interfere with the goals of therapy. Patients must then present the written recommendations from the consultant pharmacist to their prescribing physician before initiating any changes to their medication use.
